2nd year Microbiology & Immunology at Dalhousie University. Lifeguard. Inclusion specialist. Award-winning student. Curious about the invisible wars inside every living thing — and the wider world waiting outside every lab door.
I study the systems that keep us alive — pathogens, immune cascades, the elegant chaos of cellular defence. But science, to me, has never been confined to a bench. Bench science needs field instinct — and field instinct has to be earned.
Before university I spent years in the water as a lifeguard and swim instructor, ran student council, coordinated the Best Buddies litteracy program at Citadel High, and clocked 100s volunteer hours. I currently work as an Inclusion Support Specialist with Halifax Regional Municipality in my spare time, because science without humanity is just noise.
Jacor Marketing Award for Student Equality. Andy Fillmore MP Bursary recipient. Dalhousie Integrated Science Program. BSc 2028. The work is just beginning.
BSc Microbiology & Immunology at Dalhousie — dissecting the invisible machinery that governs life, disease, and defence. Expected 2028.
Inclusion Support Specialist. Lifeguard. Best Buddies coordinator. Over 100 volunteer hours. Science means nothing if it doesn't serve people.
Wisdom is wasted on the old. The time to go — to explore, to fail spectacularly, to learn in the field — is now. BSc in hand by 2028. Then: everything.
